Rebinding keys

Open the menu (m) and choose Keyboard shortcuts (also Settings → Other →

Key (in this panel)	What it does
`↑` `↓` (or `k` `j`)	move
`Enter`, `→` or `l`	rebind: then press the new key
`a`	add another key to the action
`x`	unbind the action entirely
`d` or `Backspace`	restore this action’s default keys
`R`	restore every default
`Esc`	cancel a capture / close

If the key you press was used by another action, it moves to this one — you never end up with two actions on one key. Ctrl+C (always quit) and Esc are reserved. The footer hints show the keys you actually have, and only the bindings you changed are written to the config file, under [keys]:
